Welcome to our website, my name is Janice and my husbands name is Kelvyn and we live with our two youngest daughters in the village of Churchill in Somerset, U.K.
Our journey with standard poodles began in 2000, when after years of owning rough collies, and due to my ill health, we decided to get a standard poodle as the coat would be easier to cope with in between clips done by someone else (famous last words!!)
So we contacted Philip Langdon (Atastar) and purchased a dog puppy (Charlie) and we were hooked on poodles!
Three years later and due to a combination of medication and diet, my health had dramatically improved, our thoughts turned to showing, as Philip had been grooming Charlie for us, we asked him about buying a bitch puppy and so Tara came into our lives and now rules the roost!
So here we are 2010 and we are quickly being taken over by standard poodles, they all live in the house as our pets, lounge on the sofa and sleep in the bedroom, except Tara who takes herself off to the dining room!
Whether they are in show coat or pet trim they run free in the fields together, they love fetching the frisbee and ball, although Kitty very rarely gets a chance to bring it back to us as one of the others will take it from her!!
We are both honoured to serve on the committee of the South Western Poodle Club and we are Kennel Club Accredited Breeders
Before breeding from our dogs we make sure they are SA tested clear, hip scored and eye tested clear for hereditary cataracts and DNA tested clear for vWD and NE, their health & wellbeing is our first priority
